1. Acceptance

By downloading, installing, or using the Masso iOS app (“Masso”, “the App”), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

2. What Masso Is

Masso is a fitness tracking application for personal use. It lets you record workouts, plan training sessions, track personal records, and optionally use AI-generated workout suggestions if you subscribe to Masso Pro.

Masso is not medical advice. It is for informational and motivational purposes only. The App does not diagnose, treat, or prevent any disease or condition. Consult a qualified physician before beginning any new exercise program, especially if you have a medical condition, are pregnant, or have not exercised recently.

4.1 Plans

Masso Pro is available as:

If you subscribe to a Masso Pro plan that includes a free trial, you will not be charged during the trial period. Your subscription will automatically convert to a paid subscription at the end of the trial unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends.

4.3 Auto-Renewal

Monthly and yearly subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each period until canceled. Your Apple ID account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period.

4.4 Cancellation

You can cancel a subscription at any time through your iOS Settings:

Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions → Masso → Cancel Subscription

Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. You retain Pro access until then.

4.5 Refunds

All purchases are handled by Apple. Refund requests must be made through Apple, not Masso. Apple’s refund policy applies: https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT204084

We do not issue refunds directly because we never receive your payment — Apple does.

4.6 Lifetime Purchase

The Lifetime plan is a one-time purchase that unlocks Masso Pro features for the lifetime of the App as it exists on the iOS App Store. If we discontinue the App or substantially change its core functionality, you will retain access for as long as the App remains functional on your device. “Lifetime” does not guarantee a specific time period or future feature additions.

4.7 Price Changes

We may change subscription prices at any time. Existing subscribers will be notified through the App Store before any price increase takes effect. You can cancel before the new price applies.

5. Intellectual Property

The Masso app, including all code, design, illustrations, exercise library, and original content, is owned by us and protected by copyright. You receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes.

The exercise library is built on the open-source yuhonas/free-exercise-db, licensed under Unlicense.

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE APP IS PROVIDED “AS IS” WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE APP WILL BE ERROR-FREE, UNINTERRUPTED, OR SECURE. YOU USE THE APP AT YOUR OWN RISK.

We are not responsible for any injury, illness, property damage, or other harm that may result from your use of the App, including from following any workout plan, exercise suggestion, or AI-generated recommendation.

7. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL WE BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE APP. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ANY CLAIM SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US (OR THROUGH APPLE) IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

8. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to Masso Pro features if you violate these Terms, abuse the service, or attempt to circumvent Apple’s payment system. Termination does not entitle you to a refund.

9. Privacy

Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy. Masso stores almost all data on your device and does not collect personal data on our servers.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be posted in the App and the “Last updated” date above will be revised. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States, without regard to its conflict-of-law provisions.

取消会在当前计费周期结束时生效,你仍可使用 Pro 功能直到周期结束。

4.5 退款

所有付款由 Apple 处理。退款请求需通过 Apple 提交,不通过 Masso。适用 Apple 的退款政策:https://support.apple.com/zh-cn/HT204084

我们无法直接退款,因为款项始终由 Apple 收取。

4.6 永久买断

永久版是一次性购买,在 Masso 在 iOS App Store 存续期间解锁 Pro 功能。若我们停止运营 App 或对核心功能进行重大变更,你仍保留在已安装设备上使用功能的权利。”永久”不保证特定使用期限,也不保证未来功能新增。

4.7 价格变更

我们可能随时调整订阅价格。任何价格上涨生效前,App Store 会通知现有订阅用户。你可以在新价格生效前取消。

5. 知识产权

Masso 应用(包括所有代码、设计、插图、动作库、原创内容)归我们所有,受版权保护。你获得一项有限的、非独占的、不可转让的许可,可将 App 用于个人非商业用途。

动作库基于开源项目 yuhonas/free-exercise-db,依 Unlicense 协议授权。

6. 免责声明

本 App 按现状(AS IS) 提供,不提供任何明示或暗示的担保。我们不保证 App 无错误、不中断或绝对安全。使用风险由你自行承担。

我们对你使用 App 可能导致的任何受伤、疾病、财产损失或其他伤害不承担责任 — 包括但不限于因执行训练计划、动作建议或 AI 推荐而产生的后果。

7. 责任限制

在法律允许的最大范围内,我们对你使用本 App 而产生的任何间接、附带、特殊、后果性或惩罚性损害不承担责任。对任何索赔,我们对你的总责任不超过你在索赔前 12 个月内向我们(或通过 Apple)支付的金额。

8. 终止

若你违反本条款、滥用服务或试图规避 Apple 支付系统,我们可能暂停或终止你对 Masso Pro 功能的访问权限。终止不视为退款理由。

9. 隐私

你对 App 的使用同样受我们的隐私政策约束。Masso 几乎所有数据都存储在你的设备本地,我们的服务器不收集个人数据。

10. 条款变更

我们可能不定期更新本条款。重大变更会在 App 内公告,并更新上方”最后更新”日期。变更后继续使用 App 即视为接受修订后的条款。

11. 适用法律

本条款受美国法律管辖,不适用其法律冲突原则。
